Home On a High Note – Oklahoma City Thunder Host L.A. Clippers

The Oklahoma City Thunder (1-3), are coming off their first win of the preseason, a solid 110-104 over Western Conference title-contending Houston as high-scoring second-year shooting guard Kevin Durant scored 20 of his game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter.
The Los Angeles Clippers (1-0), put up 107 points while giving up just 80 in beating in winning their lone preseason game by routing their in-city rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
Former Iowa State point guard Mike Taylor dropped 20 points on the Lakers on 4-of-6 shooting from downtown while perennial head case veteran Ricky Davis added 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting, including 3-of-5 from long distance.
The Thunder are averaging 94.9 points per game but need to get better on the defensive end of the floor as they are allowing 102.0 points per game
Here is a look at the NBA Odds for tonight’s contest, followed by my analysis and NBA Wagering Free Picks:
Los Angeles Clippers +3 +115
Oklahoma City Thunder -3 -115
Over 197 -115
Under 197 -115
Analysis: The Thunder may be home favorites in this matchup, but it is the more experienced Clippers that should get this win tonight with their younger players taking center stage after their starters get them out to an early lead.
The Thunder have the right GM in Sam Presti and head coach in P.J. Carlesimo for such young players but still need more time to grow.
NBA Free Picks: Clippers -3 Points/Over 197 Total Points
