NBA action is not just "fantastic," it's going to be downright unbelievable as we move into the second half of the season, and you can get knee deep in it with the help of BetUS. Futures odds are available right now on the website, so you can make your picks as to who will meet up in what will no doubt be a super-charged NBA Finals.

There appears to be a real battle royal brewing in the East, where the Boston Celtics, who have demonstrated that when healthy, they can achieve the same form they did two seasons ago in rampaging to the NBA title, are listed at +150 at BetUS to get through the conference. However, when you have a Cleveland Cavaliers team with LeBron James and that two-headed center combo of Shaquille O'Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas, not to mention Mo Williams in the backcourt, you can't be counted out of anything, and the Cavs are right behind Boston at +160.

The Orlando Magic were last season's conference champion behind iron man Dwight Howard, and they are priced at +350 to pull off a repeat. The young "turks" in this mix are the Atlanta Hawks, who have been neck-and-neck with the Magic all year long and could be a bargain at +900. Insurgent teams like the Miami Heat (+2500), Toronto Raptors (+3500) and Charlotte Bobcats (+6500) may yet have something to say about how this conference plays out, as will injury questions surrounding key players, including Boston's Kevin Garnett and Orlando's Vince Carter.

In the West, it's no shocker - the Los Angeles Lakers are -150 to win the conference and are the +225 favorite at BetUS.com to win the NBA title. There's no reason to believe, with Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol and Ron Artest, as well as the continued development of Andrew Bynum, that they won't be there at the end, but a number of teams will be there if they falter. One of them is the San Antonio Spurs, who got more scoring help for Tim Duncan this year and who are right there with the Denver Nuggets at +600 to win the West.

The Dallas Mavericks (+800) are once again showing a lot of strength, particularly away from home, and the Portland Trail Blazers (+1600) absolutely refuse to be written off, even after losing center Greg Oden. Can the Phoenix Suns (+1400) keep up their surprising play? Are the Utah Jazz (+2000) ready to finally get over that elusive hump? Will Rick Adelman win a coach of the year award for the way he's kept the Houston Rockets (+3500) in contention? Can young teams like the Memphis Grizzlies (+15000) and Oklahoma City Thunder (+5000) continue to stay in the race for playoff spots? There are no less then eleven teams above the .500 mark in this conference, and as of Monday, there were only 4.5 games separating the #2 team from the #11 team. That is pretty wild.

Also wild are the number of ways you can bet the NBA with BetUS. Take a shot at totals, money lines, teasers and parlays, halftime and quarter lines, along with conventional pointspreads and much more at our website that's like a slam dunk to use!
