My prediction, that Jimmie Johnson will all of a sudden become a force towards the Chase, has sort of come to fruition. Johnson was fantastic last weekend while winning the Pepsi 500.
Jimmie pretty much dominated from beginning to end in the race. He showed the mentality and ability that has led to two straight Chase Cup Championships. For online NASCAR betting fans it was a nice respite from the year of Kyle Bush and Carl Edwards.
Bush and Edwards will be looking to return to their glorified status as the two best drivers in NASCAR this weekend in the Chevy Rock and Roll 400.

1. Carl Edwards online betting odds + 600 - - Carl didn’t look to good last weekend, but I expect him to bounce back in a big way in this race. Carl was on the cusp of proclaiming himself the best driver in NASCAR after that shifty little move he pulled on Kyle Busch two races back. Edwards bounces back. The online odds are good. He’s worth a shot.
2. Jimmie Johnson online betting odds + 600 - - Guess who won this race last year? That’s right. Jimmie Johnson. Jimmie does this every year. He waits until the Chase begins in earnest and then he asserts himself as the big dog on the NASCAR campus. Johnson could definitely make it two in a row.
3. Kyle Busch online betting odds + 500 - - Kyle had a subpar race in the Pepsi 500. It’s going to be hard to keep Kyle down for more than one race. That means he bounces back big time this Saturday. But the question still remains - - did Kyle waste all of his bullets to early in the NASCAR season? Is Jimmie moving up while Kyle is moving down?
4. Jeff Gordon online betting odds + 1500 - - Gordon has been driving much better lately. His cars have been firing. His crew has started to resemble the one that has made Gordon the top driver in NASCAR for years. His online odds keep going up too which means I sort of have to take a chance on him each week.
5. Tony Stewart online betting odds + 1000 - - This has been a strange year for Stewart. He hasn’t been the same old Tony the Tiger this season, but if there is anything that online NASCAR betting fans can agree on it’s the fact that Stewart always comes to drive. He could turn things around in a big way on Saturday night.
6. Kurt Busch online betting odds + 5000 - - There’s really no reason for me to like Kurt in this race. But I’ve got that feeling that the elder Busch will make his presence felt this Saturday night. If he does, those 50 to 1 online odds will lead to huge online profits!
