NASCAR Betting - Lenox Industrial Tools 301 Top 3

Race-day: 6/28/2009
Race-time: 1:30 pm est.
NASCAR returns to a traditional two turn track when drivers suit up for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon will both be looking for their third victory of the year, but would settle for a top 3 finish. Tony Stewart, number one in the Sprint Cup Standings, will also be looking for a top 3 finish.
Let’s take a look at some of the contenders to finish in the top 3 in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
NASCAR: Lenox Industrial Tools 301 Top 3
1. Tony Stewart +250 - - Tony’s average finish of 8.5 this year is pretty incredible. He also has 10 top 5 finishes at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
2. Denny Hamlin +240 - - An average finish of 7.2 with 2 top 5s at New Hampshire means that Denny Hamlin could provide nice profits for gamblers in this category. He’s a top driver when he’s doing well and no doubt should at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
3. Jimmie Johnson +150 - - An average finish of 9.9 with 4 top 5s means that Johnson no doubt likes the racetrack at New Hampshire. He was terrific on the road course last week and now gets to show his stuff around two turns again.
4. Jeff Gordon +250 - - 12 top 5s at New Hampshire makes Gordon one of the top drivers in this category. He wasn’t terrible last week, but he hasn’t made a move to really challenge for a victory in what seems like forever. He might just want to maintain a good position in this.
5. Greg Biffle +350 - - 4 top 5 finishes at New Hampshire with a victory in 2008 says this is the kind of race where Biffle could sneak into the top 3. The NASCAR odds are better on Biffle than they are on some of the other drivers here.
6. Kurt Busch +450 - - Busch not only has 3 victories at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway but he’s also finished in the top 5 five times. That makes him more than a serious contender in this category.
Best Long Shot
Juan Pablo Montoya +1500 - - No wins, no top 5s and no top 10s at New Hampshire. But that’s why Juan Pablo is going off at 15 to 1 in this category, right? He could surprise as he has driven very well in his last 2 races.
