Good day; I'm pulling for my PHILLIES who are currently second in the NL East. For the past 3 seasons the Phils have averaged 86-76,86-76, and 88-84 campaigns respectively.
They just missed the 2005 playoffs by finishing behind the perennial Atlanta Braves at 90-72. With Jimmy Rollins leading off and sluggers, Howard, Abreu, Utley, Bell, and Pat Burrell bringing up the rear, hopfully this year they will prevail and edge out pesky Bobby Coxs' Atlanta Braves. Many of this years teams already have season-altering injuries.
With 162 games schedules, ultimately the best teams will emerge and play on in post season finales. I'll continue to listen to you and your guest speakers comments on these topics of interest. Have a good day, respectfully R.L. Corpus Christi
