NASCAR Betting - Jimmie Should Increase Lead in Amp Energy 400

This weekend’s race is at Talladega Super Speedway. It’s the Amp Energy 400. NASCAR online betting fans have to be careful in this race for the simple fact that Jimmie Johnson has taken the lead. Once he takes the lead, it’s almost impossible to grab it away from him.

Jimmie might be looking at a third straight cup victory. In reality there is only one driver I see out there who can stop him. That driver would be Carl Edwards. The rest of the field has no chance against Jimmie.

Amp Energy 400 Best Online Wagering Bets

1. Jimmie Johnson - - online betting odds + 700 - - Sure, Jimmie hasn’t been all that great at Talladega historically, but that’s okay. Jimmie is the best there is right now. He won’t have a bad race because Carl Edwards is right on his ass. I see Jimmie doing some good things in this. At those online wagering odds, he’s worth a bet.

2. Jeff Gordon - - online betting odds + 500 - - Gordon has been driving much better in the Chase then he did during the regular season. He could easily win this race over his teammate. Of course, the online betting odds on Gordon are extremely low this Sunday.

3. Carl Edwards - - online betting odds + 2000 - - Why not take a stab on a driver that has a chance to win the Cup? Sure, Edwards is going off at double digit odds in this thing which means his chances of winning should be slim, but I like Carl to come up big when he has to. He still has one of the best crews in NASCAR and his driving is impeccable.

4. Kyle Busch - - online betting odds + 500 - - Busch is one of the favorites because he can dominate at Talladega. This could be one of those Kyle races where he takes the lead early and just keeps going. At 5 to 1, he might be worth an online bet.

5. Clint Bowyer - - online betting odds + 2500 - - I keep waiting for this guy to get behind the wheel and kick some ass. He hasn’t done it so far and probably won’t do it again but if he continues to go off at huge online wagering odds, I sort of have to think about betting on him.

6. Greg Biffle - - online betting odds + 1800 - - Biffle could break through with another victory in the Chase. It won’t help him get to Jimmie. I’m not sure anything will, but the online betting odds are good enough for me to consider an online bet on Biffle.
