NASCAR Betting - Bank of America 500 Six Pack
by Corey E

Online BetUS Sportsbook customers and NASCAR betting enthusiasts have watched the 2008 Chase for the Cup unfold and wind down over the past few weeks. Jimmie Johnson has jumped out to a significant lead, after a mediocre season—by his standards.
Meanwhile, season-long superstar Kyle Busch has more or less mailed it in following several races with mechanical problems that have him pasted at the bottom of the Chase standings permanently.
Just because the Chase is winding down however, doesn’t mean that there isn’t plenty of NASCAR betting value to go around! Let’s look at the six drivers you’ll want on your BetUS ticket this weekend!
Jimmie Johnson
Charlotte is his home track, and Lowe’s just happens to be his sponsor as well. When we talk each week about drivers being dominant, it only pales in comparison to Johnson’s performance at Lowe’s: five wins already, and eleven top tens in 14 starts. Enough said. No. 48 should cruise to yet another Sprint Cup victory.
Kasey Kahne
The only man who can claim to be as successful as Jimmie Johnson at Charlotte and not be laughed out of the room is Kahne. No. 9 has won three of the past five races here, and will be driving hard amidst all of the Gillette-Evernham controversy going on.
Tony Stewart
Working our way down the list, one of the last eleven races at Charlotte that either Johnson or Kahne did not take the checkered in was captured by Tony Stewart. Tony finally got over the hump last week and won a race, and should ride that momentum into this week’s race.
Jeff Gordon
He’s on again, off again at Charlotte—let’s just hope he’s on once again. Gordon won here last fall, but has tends to struggle on tracks similar to Lowe’s. If you’re looking to fill up your NASCAR betting card, take a chance with Jeff, but don’t bet the farm on it!
Jamie McMurray
A former winner at Charlotte, McMurray always races hard, and if given the right equipment, can contend at Charlotte this week. The NASCAR odds will be stacked against him, but it could be a cool pay day if he pulls it off.
Sam Hornish Jr.
A huge long shot here, but the rookie is slowly figuring Charlotte out on the Nationwide Tour as well. In his only Sprint Cup start at Lowe’s, he finished 13th. For those of you who like underdogs, they don’t get much bigger than this!
