Denny Hamlin won the race this past Sunday but Jimmie Johnson was the ultimate victory as he took home his 4th straight NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.

How amazing is that? Amazing. That’s the only word that one can describe JJ’s accomplishments. The man wasn’t leading the Sprint Cup Standings when the Chase started but he was in the end and beat Mark Martin, his fellow Hendrick Motor Sports’ driver, for the NASCAR Sprint Cup by 108 points.

Of course, this being NASCAR, there is no rest for the weary as the Dayton 500 will be run on February 14th 2010.
