Streaking ChiSox to Cash in Against Indians– Cleveland at Chicago

The Cleveland Indians (33-51 SU, 34-50 RL, 45-37-2 O/U) will be trying to snap their two-game losing streak when they take on the Chicago White Sox (43-40 SU, 46-37 RL, 33-48-2 O/U) at U.S. Cellular Field tonight at 8 PM ET.
Paul Konerko went 3-for-4 with three home runs and seven RBI to lead the White Sox to a convincing 10-6 win over the Indians on Tuesday night.
Chicago cashed in for BetUS MLB baseball betting enthusiasts everywhere as -180 home favorites as the final score played Over the 9-run O/U total.
Alexei Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run jack for the White Sox while Grady Sizemore went 2-for-4 with two homers and three RBI for Cleveland.
Tonight, the Indians will hand the ball to left-hander Aaron Laffey (2-0, 4.09 ERA) while the White Sox counter with veteran right-hander Jose Contreras (3-7, 4.84 ERA).
Laffey returns to the starting rotation following six appearances out of the bullpen. The veteran right-hander gave up at least one earned run in each of his last four appearances, including a 1.1-inning stint on May 22 as he allowed two runs on two hits in a 3-1 loss to Cincinnati.
Contreras held the Cleveland Indians to two runs on five hits over eight innings of Chicago’s 6-2 win on Wednesday.
Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and MLB Free Pick.

Analysis: The Chicago White Sox are ranked 16th in hitting, with a team batting average of .260 while ranking an exceptional 7th in pitching, with a team earned run average of 4.02.
The Cleveland Indians are ranked 14th in hitting, with a team batting average of .261 but are ranked a pitiful 30th in pitching, with a team earned run average of 5.35.
The Cleveland Indians are mired in a dismal funk, having lost seven of its last nine games overall while the Chicago White Sox are playing excellent baseball, winning eight of 10 coming into tonight’s contest.
Aaron Laffey has been shaky out of the bullpen for the Indians and now they move him into the starting rotation which tells me the Tribe are absolutely desperate.
The Indians are just 1-5 in their last six games following a loss and have struggled immensely with Aaron Laffey on the hill, going 1-6 in Laffey’s last seven road starts and 0-6 in Laffey’s last six starts as an underdog.
The White Sox have gone a spotless 6-0 in their last six games versus a left-handed starter while also going a blistering 5-1 in their last six home games.
The White Sox have also gone 8-2 in their last 10 overall and 4-1 in their last five games as a favorite.
I also like the Over for this matchup as it has cashed in for BetUS MLB online betting members in each of Aaron Laffey’s last four starts as a road underdog while also going 4-0 in Chicago’s last four home games against a left-handed starter.
