MLB Baseball Betting Free Picks – Red-Hot Phillies Host Streaking Reds

The Philadelphia Phillies, (33-25, 27-31 RL) are pumping out runs like they’re going out of style lately and moved into first place in the NL East for the first time this sports betting season, after beating the Florida Marlins 7-5 on Sunday, led by second baseman Chase Utley’s major league-leading 20th home run.
The Cincinnati Reds, (28-29, 21-35 RL) are playing their best baseball of the season and come into tonight’s baseball betting matchup having won three consecutive games and five of their last six, including a convincing 6-2 home win over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday that completed their three-game sports betting sweep.
The Phillies, who have also won five of their last six games, will give the ball to young right-hander Kyle Kendrick, (4-2, 4.84 ERA) who is coming off a solid outing in his last start as he limited the Colorado Rockies to two runs on seven hits in 7 1/3 innings in Philadelphia’s 7-4 home win on Friday.
The Reds will counter by going with veteran right-hander Bronson Arroyo, (4-4, 5.29 ERA) who has won two consecutive starts including his last outing when he gave up just one run on three hits and six strikeouts in six innings in helping the Reds beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-1 on Saturday.
