Best in the AL West - Rangers at Angels

Weaver, Millwood to Stage Classic Pitcher’s Duel as Angels Win, Extract Revenge
The Texas Rangers (45-35 SU, 42-38 RL, 29-48-3 O/U) and the Los Angeles Angels (45-35 SU, 44-36 RL, 42-34-4 O/U) will both be trying to extend their respective winning streaks in the BetUS Sportsbook when they square off at Angel Stadium at 10 PM ET tonight.
The Rangers come into tonight’s contest riding a five-game winning streak after cruising to a 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday night as outfielder Marlon Byrd drove in a pair of runs to lead the Rangers.
Texas cashed in for BetUS MLB betting members as +122 home underdogs while the combined score played Under the 9.5-run O/U total.
The Angels took two straight and three of four from the Baltimore Orioles, including a 9-6 win on Sunday to cash in for BetUS MLB sports betting members as a -160 favorite on Sunday while the game’s 15 total runs played well Over the 10-run O/U total.
Veteran outfielder Bobby Abreu drove in a pair of runs and scored three more for the Angels while Vladimir Guerrero hit a two-run home run in the win.
The Rangers will give the ball to veteran right-hander Kevin Millwood 8-5, 2.80 ERA)while the Angels counter with Jered Weaver (8-3, 3.10 ERA).
Millwood allowed four runs on eight hits in 6.1 innings of a 9-7 win over the Angels on Wednesday bur failed to record a decision in the outing.
Weaver also did not get a decision in the same game after yielding a season-high seven runs on eight hits in 5.1 innings of a 9-7 loss to Texas.

Analysis: The Angels host the streaking Rangers for the first time this year as the AL West co-leaders get set for the opener of a three-game set tonight.
After getting a win in their three-game series opener exactly one week ago, the Angels dropped two straight to their division rivals and look to extract a big measure of revenge from Texas beginning tonight.
Rangers’ flame-throwing right-hander Kevin Millwood has gone 1-1 over his last three starts while recording a solid 2.72 ERA during the span while L.A.’s Jered Weaver has gone 1-1 with a high 8.10 ERA over his last three starts.
Weaver however, has been one of baseball’s best pitchers at home this season, going 5-1 with a 1.83 ERA and .190 opponents' batting average.
The Angels have gone 8-1 in their last nine Game 1 contests while also going a nearly spotless 5-1 in their last six home games and 4-1 in their last five games as a home favorite.
L.A. has also gone 4-1 in Jered Weaver’s last five starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5 and an impressive 8-2 in Weaver’s last 10 home starts.
While the Rangers have gone a spotless 5-0 in their last five games as an underdog and blistering 5-1 in Millwood’s last six starts overall, I like the Angels to win this matchup and get a small measure of revenge by beating the Rangers at home in this contest.
I also like the Under to cash in for BetUS MLB sports betting members as it has gone 7-1-1 in Kevin Millwood’s last nine starts as a road underdog and 8-1-1 in Weaver’s last 10 starts as a home favorite.
MLB Free Picks: Los Angeles Angels -1½ Runs/Under 8 ½ Total Runs
