MLB Baseball Wagering Action - Tigers vs. Angels

The Detroit Tigers travel to Los Angeles to take on the Angels in the first of a three game sports betting series. The Tigers were unbelievable the other night against the Minnesota Twins, racking up 19 runs, but look what happened the next day? The Tigers lost 6 to 1. Whatever has ailed them this season hasn’t gone away just yet. For BetUS online sports book baseball betting enthusiasts, the Tigers have sort of been the Jekyll and Hyde of the American League. I mean, one day you make a killing on these guys. The next day, you’re wondering where your sports betting bankroll went. It might not get any better for those who believe in the Tigers since they send old man Kenny Rogers to the mound. Again, the guy makes great chicken, but he’s also good at burning a hole into the pockets of online wagering fans. Rogers has an ERA of 6.66 and a record of 4 and 4 this season.
The Los Angeles Angels counter with pitcher John Garland. They signed Garland to be their ace, but he’s been a big disappointment. Even though his record is 5 and 3, his ERA is 4.53. That makes him a difficult online gamble at best.

Both Rogers and Garland figure to give up quite a few runs in this game. The BetUS over/under of 9 ½ runs sure is tempting, but I’m going to stick with Garland.
Yes, I did write that he’s a disappointment, but Rogers is pitching so badly this season that giving up the 1 ½ runs on Garland for a juicy + 160 looks like the best online wager to me.
