Mom always said, ‘you’ve got to take the bad with the good’ but I say, not when it comes to sports betting.

I see it but I don’t believe it either. The Orioles really are succeeding at home, so I stick with this ballclub until they show otherwise.

Tampa Bay Rays + $744 (16-8)

For those bettors who think the Rays are going to falter some time soon, I’d think again. This club has legitimate pitching and solid young hitters – which make for a winning combination.

Bottom Five Home Money Teams

Mom said to take the bad with the good but I say stay away from these teams at home for the moment.

New York Yankees - $781 (10-12)

I said this club would be mediocre at best this season, and their lowball offer to former World Series-winning manager Joe Torre would come back to bite them in the butt – and it sure has – big time. Until this ballclub starts to show that they are more than mediocre, I say avoid them at all costs.

Detroit Tigers - $696 (10-12)

The Tigers can’t win at home, they can’t win on the road, this team can’t win anywhere. Until otherwise avoid the Tigers like the Bubonic Plague.

San Diego Padres - $645 (9-12)

Unless Jake Peavy is on the mound, I’m wagering against the Padres. Enough said.

Seattle Mariners - $618 (11-13)

What a disappointment this team has been this season. Despite having two of the best young pitchers in the game in Erik Bedard and Felix Hernandez, this club is underachieving on an almost nightly basis.

Toronto Blue Jays - $479 (10-11)

While the Blue Jays have struggled at home in the early going, I like this team’s ability to bounce bask with Roy Halladay and A.J. Burnett leading the way. Still, any team that causes bettors to lose money, certainly needs to be watched carefully.
