The Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks will continue to pretend that they are major league baseball teams on Sunday night when the Dodgers will try desperately to make up ground against the D’Backs by sending out pitcher Derek Lowe.

Lowe has been solid for the Dodgers this season going 10 and 11 with a 3.81 ERA. Yes, the stats aren’t that good, but these are the Los Angeles Dodgers who, for some reason, just can’t do anything right. Baseball betting fans have to be disappointed at how the L.A. Dodgers have sort of given it away lately. I mean, they’re trying - - acquiring both Manny Ramirez and Greg Maddux means that you’re trying - - but it hasn’t been enough.

The Arizona Diamondbacks counter Derek Lowe and the Dodgers by sending pitcher Brandon Webb to the mound. Last years’ N.L. Cy Young award winner has been stellar again this season. His ERA is 2.96. His record is 15 and 6.
