Cincinnati Reds @ New York Yankees
The Cincinnati Reds head into Yankee Stadium this weekend for a three-game sports betting set against one of the hottest teams in the Majors.
The Yankees have won seven straight games and are finally starting to click for their demanding boss, Hank Steinbrenner.
The spark has been the shift of Joba Chamberlain from the bullpen to the rotation, which has shored up a weakness.
This weekend, the Reds will throw their best pitcher at the Yankees but that may not be enough to win the series. Edinson Volquez will pitch Friday against Mike Mussina. Homer Bailey and Johnny Cueto will start for the Reds the other two games and both have struggled away from home.
The Yankees are the logical pick. They are sizzling right now and the Reds are only 12-24 away from home.

The Kansas City Royals have been one of the stronger teams in interleague play this season and look for that to continue this weekend.
They have won seven of nine contests against the National League this season, which is significantly better than how they play against their own League.
The Royals are off a sweep of instate rival St. Louis. The Royals took three straight at Busch Stadium.
The Giants have been at the exact opposite end of the spectrum. They have lost seven of nine, winning once in nine interleague tries.
Luke Hochevar and Matt Cain will pitch Friday, Gil Meche and Kevin Correia will pitch Saturday and Kyle Davies and Tim Lincecum will pitch Sunday.
About the only thing going for the Giants is the fact that they play better on the road. They are 17-18 on the road and just 31-42 overall. The Royals are only 13-18 in the comfortable confines of Kauffman Stadium.

Baltimore Orioles @ Milwaukee Brewers
If you’re going to play on hot teams, you should be investing some of your money on the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brew Crew has won six of their last eight games overall and 10 of their last 14 games at home.
At 23-12, their home record is among the best in the Majors.
The Baltimore Orioles also have one of the league’s better home records (22-12) but unfortunately for them, they will be on the road this weekend.
The difference for the Brewers of late has been their hitting. They have averaged more than seven runs per game over their last six wins.
The home court benefit will also help out their starting pitching this weekend. Jeff Suppan and Manny Parra, two of their three starters this weekend, pitch much better at home than they do on the road.
Suppan & Parra away from home: 4-6, 70 IP, 49 ER
Suppan & Parra at home: 6-0, 90.1 IP, 21 ER
