The games have begun and we have already seen a few surprises. But at this time of year this is to be expected. However on day one there were only three upsets. This weekend should provide for more madness and a lot of time in front of the TV.

Since 1985:

   No. 2 Seeds have lost 5% of the time,

   No. 3 seeds have lost 16%,

   No. 4 seeds have lost 20%,

   No. 5 seeds have lost 33% of the time,

   No. 6 seeds have lost 30% and

   No. 7 seeds have lost 40% of their first round games.

Have a seat and get ready for the rest of the wild ride.

While you are doing that keep an eye out on these five players:

   Nate Robinson – Washington

   Troy DeVries – New Mexico

   Anthony Roberson – Florida

   Darren Brooks – Southern Illinois

   Adam Morrison – Gonzaga
