September 11th Horse Pick of the Day - Belmont Park Race 7

There are two huge Pick-6 carryovers today. The first is at Belmont Park where over $202,000 is in the Pick-6. The second is at Fairplex where there is over $130,000 in the Pick-6.
Here are my feeling regarding Pick-6 carryovers - - online racebook fans should always try to play them if possible. Rarely does a single online bet, much less a horse bet, have the potential of providing so much profit.
But, like with all online wagering, online racebook fans should stay within their comfort level. Decide on the amount of money you are willing to invest into your Pick-6 tickets. If you can’t create a competitive ticket within your online wagering comfort level, then pass on the Pick-6.
Let’s get to the pick of the day!

Frenchman’s Cove - - 8/1 morning line
We will be lucky to get 5/1 online wagering odds when this son of Hussonet enters the starting gate. Frenchman’s Cove has one win, a second, and a third out of eight lifetime races. That’s not bad, but the real story is that he was claimed out of his last race by Chad C. Brown. Who is Chad Brown? A guy who’s winning at a 20% clip this year, 38% with horses he affixes blinkers to, and 28% with his turf starters. Those are terrific numbers. Cove breaks from the three hole where jockey Eibar Coa can decide to run on the pace or take him back. This colt is a serious player in here.
Counting House - - 5/1 morning line
This gelding got no favors when he drew the ten hole, but jockey Cornelio Velasquez is about as good as they get. He’ll have this son of Grindstone in a good position to make a serious run in the lane. He only needs to improve a smidgen in his last to take this.
Cool Tales - - 5/2 morning line
The chalk is dropping from an allowance race to this claimer by James Jerkens. He could definitely steal this race on the front end, but his last turf race was terrible. That one might be a throw-out since there’s no doubt that Cool Tales didn’t take to the yielding turf. He gets firm today, but is he worth a shot to win at 5/2? Probably not.
Wagering Strategy
I’m going to set my online betting odds on Frenchman’s Cove at 4 to 1. If Cove goes off less than 4 to 1, then I jump to Counting House as my online wagering key horse in this race. In any case, I’ll use both Counting House and Frenchman’s Cove in exacta and trifecta boxes with the speed, Cool Tales.
Good Luck!
