Breeders’ Cup Wagering - October 25th Early Pick 4 - Wagering Strategy

For online racebook fans, making an online bet in these Pick 4’s and the Pick 6 could prove extremely profitable. Or, it could destroy an online betting bankroll. Online racebook fans must make good decisions. The first is always to stick to how much you’re going to bet into the pools first.

Race 2 - - Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint

It’s difficult to go more than three or four deep in any Pick 4. This is a very tough race to handicap, but I believe we’ve got the three in here that make the most sense. Let’s use True To Tradition (15/1), California Flag (15/1) and Mr. Nightlinger (6/1). True To Tradition is very good right now. California Flag owns the record on this track at this distance on the downhill turf course, and Mr. Nightlinger is the fastest horse in this race.

Race 3 - - Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile

We have to go four deep in this one because the quality is outstanding. Let’s go with Lewis Michael (5/1), Albertus Maximus (4/1), Well Armed (3/1) and My Pal Charlie at 20 to 1. My Pal Charlie looks very, very tough at huge online betting odds. Lewis Michael figures and Well Armed won the Grade I Goodwood.

Race 4 - - Breeders’ Cup Mile

Okay, at this point, should we be alive, we don’t want to get knocked out of the early Pick 4. So, it’s imperative that we go four deep again. Let’s go with Goldikova (3/1), Daytona (6/1), Bold Chieftan (15/1) and Whatsthescript (4/1). Bold Chieftan should be going off closer to 30 to 1 than 15 to 1. He just lost a restricted stakes as a 1 to 2 favorite in his last. Daytona has a great chance of wiring this field. Whatsthescript figures.

Race 5 - - Breeders’ Cup Juvenile

The best horse in this race is Square Eddie. He’s the key in the early Pick 4. For online racebook fans, there isn’t a better key horse in any of the other legs in the Pick 4. I’ll be using Square Eddie as the key horse in my online betting Pick 4.
