It’s time to take a look at the best wagers in the BetUS online sportsbook regarding tournament match-ups for the AT&T National in Bethesda, Maryland this weekend.

This weekend is, of course, July 4th weekend and what better place than Maryland to showcase some of the best golfers in the world.

Let’s take a look at the most intriguing match-ups in the sportsbook.

AT&T National Tournament Match-ups

1. Jim Furyk +300 vs. Tiger Woods -400 - - Tiger will be in tough to win this tournament but so will Furyk who finished second to Tiger in the Memorial Tournament a few weeks back. Furyk didn’t play in the Traveler’s Championship last week and this tournament sort of sets up for him. I love Tiger, but Furyk is the better wager in this match-up. I’m taking “Fury” and the Golf odds.

Pick: Jim Furyk

2. Paul Casey +115 vs. Hunter Mahan -145 - - Sure Mahan is one of my picks to win the AT&T National, but that doesn’t mean that I believe he destroys Casey at what amounts to putting up a bet and a half in order to win profits. I mean, I can bet Casey in this, and Casey is no slouch although he’s been horrible lately, and get above even money while I’ll have to put up and extra 45 bucks to get Mahan. I’m taking another long shot. Casey could bounce back at +115 to just beat Mahan.

Pick: Paul Casey

3. Lucas Glover -130 vs. Ryan Moore Ev - - One of the things my pops always said about Jack Nicklaus was that he might not have been as talented as every other golfer he faced but he sure worked harder. Lucas Glover won the U.S. Open on a Monday and then teed off at the Traveler’s Championship that Thursday. He finished 11th at the Traveler’s. The U.S. Open champ is just too tough right now for a guy like Ryan Moore in this even though Moore finished ahead of him at the Traveler’s.

Pick: Lucas Glover

4. Sean O’Hair -105 vs. Anthony Kim -125 - - This is a tough matchup as both O’Hair and Kim have been good and bad this year. I think of this match-up the way I would if a pit bull faced a Doberman with Kim the pit bull. Well, I see the pit winning in that matchup because Kim, even though he can be erratic like a pit bull, has been very, very good lately. He won this tournament last year and should dispatch with Sean O’Hair.

Pick: Anthony Kim

5. Davis Love III -105 vs. Boo Weekley -125 - - Boo had a great Traveler’s and David Love III hasn’t been the same in a long time, but if gamblers look at how Davis Love played in the Memorial a few weeks ago, one realizes that he still has it…at times. I just like Davis Love III to do well in this and will be him at better odds. Boo rarely puts two great tournaments together.

Pick: Davis Love III

6. Rocco Mediate -120 vs. Fred Couples -110 - - Bettors shouldn’t sleep on Couples who can definitely put together a nice tournament still, but Rocco has yet to miss a cut this year and has finished in the top 20 the past two years at this tournament. Couples can’t boast that.

Pick: Rocco Mediate
