2. Padraig Harrington – 115 vs. Kenny Perry – 115 - - This online bet is even better in my eyes. Padraig was sensational last weekend winning the British Open with a hurt wrist, but I doubt he plays that well in this tournament. The purse is eight million dollars so Padraig definitely has a reason to come out and play hard, but he will have a let down after his stellar performance in Great Britain. Perry, meanwhile, is well rested and don’t think for a moment that he doesn’t want some of that eight mil!

3. Stewart Cink – 120 vs. Kenny Perry – 110 - - Any time you can get Kenny Perry at better online odds than the other guy, you have to take him. Cink is third on the money list and has been doing very well, but Perry is just awesome right now. You notice my online wagering trend here? Stick with Kenny Perry and good things are sure to follow. If he bombs, I’ll have to chalk this weekend up as a loser.

4. Sergio Garcia – 120 vs. Padraig Harrington – 110 - - Sergio bombed in Britain. He was the online golf wagering favorite but failed to do much. Padraig won the tournament. Can Sergio get some measure of revenge? I think he can. Again, Padraig did so well in the British Open, I just have that feeling that he will “bounce”. I have to go with Sergio in this one.

5. Jim Furyk – 110 vs. Phil Mickelson – 120 - - I like to always bet against Lefty when he faces a tough competitor like Furyk. Why?

Because Lefty is always overbet. Always. Furyk is playing well and it’s only a matter of time before he secures his first victory of the season. Yes, I’ve been writing that for a while. But in online match-up betting we need to remember that Furyk doesn’t really have to win. He just has to beat Mickelson. I think he can at the better online betting odds of – 110.
