Padraig Harrington may be a newcomer to the Nissan Open, but he sure didn't look like one on Thursday and Friday, leading the Nissan Open after two rounds. There is still plenty more golf to be played including several matches today. Here's the betting scoop:

Robert Karlsson -125

Rory Sabbatini -105

Karlsson and Sabatini both shot opening round 69s for 2-under par. Karlsson may be the more experienced player here but Sabatini isn't exactly chopped liver and has a bigger upside. Take Sabatini to cover here.

Result: Sabatini 70 - Karlsson 74

Nissan Open 2nd Round

2nd Round 18 Hole Matchup

Will MacKenzie -125

Rich Beem -105

MacKenzie and Beem both shot an opening round 69 for 2-under par. It is Beem though who is the more accomplished golfer and more likely to play consistently in the second round. Take Beem at -105 for the win.

Result: Beem 68 - MacKenzie 75

Nissan Open 2nd Round

2nd Round 18 Hole Matchup

Phil Mickelson -130

Jim Furyk EV

Mickelson's opening round 66 for -5 bested Furyk's excellent round by one shot, so this matchup is no given for either golfer. Mickelson is the better ball striker of the two and longer hitter, so wagering on him is probably the safe way to go. Take Mickelson at -130 to win here.

Result: Mickelson 65 - Furyk 70

Nissan Open 2nd Round

2nd Round 18 Hole Matchup

03:40 PM EST

Vijay Singh +105

Ernie Els -135

I saved the best for last here. Els is striking the ball extremely well right now and is playing fairly consistent golf, but by no means would I count Singh out. As a matter of fact, something tells me that Singh will rise to the occasion and match - or surpass - Els' play today. Singh generally plays his best golf when he's going up against the very best in the world, which is the occasion here. Singh was three-under par for the opening round while Els was only one shot back at -2. Take Singh at +105 for to cover here.

Result: Els 68 - Singh 71

Overall Record for 2nd Round: 3-1
