South Africa and England shared honours in the Twenty20 International series over the weekend with a win apiece however it is just a tasty start to a delicious two and a half month tour.

The tour will this week offer up two very interesting and very different one-day internationals the first at Johannesburg and the second at Centurion.

After England’s atrocious 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Australia only a couple of months ago, the tourists are keen not to let the Proteas do the same.

South Africa on the other hand is still reeling after their earl exit from the Champions Trophy and still stinging from the tour loss to England back in 2008.

With their number one world ranking in Test matches on the line later in the tour, the Proteas need to gain confidence in the five-match one-day series.

In other games, India is hosting Sri Lanka in three match Test series starting at Ahemedabad.
