NFL Betting: Carolina Panthers (+4.5) at Arizona Cardinals (-4.5)

The Carolina Panthers, (3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS, 2-3 O/U) enter this matchup coming off a last-second, 16-13 win over the New Orleans Saints, but certainly have their share of problems with the league’s 23rd-ranked offense and 25th-ranked defense. Carolina will also be without injured starting quarterback Jake Delhomme.

The Arizona Cardinals, (3-2 SU, 4-1 ATS, 3-2 O/U) have won two consecutive games coming into this contest and are ranked 10th in overall offense and 14th in overall defense. Despite losing young quarterback Matt Leinart, the Cardinals have operated smoothly under veteran Kurt Warner.

Here is a look at tonight’s key trends followed by my Free NFL Wagering Picks:

Analysis: Can it really be that the Cardinals are finally for real? This game should speak volumes about each team as they move further into the 2007 regular season. The Panthers have been a perplexing bunch to say the least, while the Cardinals seem to be suddenly headed in the right direction under first-year head coach Ken Whisenhunt. Take the Cards to make it three wins in a row over the David Carr-led Panthers.
