Bet On UFC Odds - The Ultimate Fighter Finale

Saturday, Spike TV presents The Ultimate Fighter Finale beginning at 9pm EST, and the UFC betting crazies may want to take note of the sign hanging on the door reading ''Beware of Dog'' when Roger "El Matador" Huerta takes on Clay "The Carpenter" Guida, because there's a puppy lurking that's lively and ready to bite the books.

In a sport the underdog so often prevails making for great investments, Huerta at +110 is as solid as they come for those who look for value. Grant it, Huerta may not land bettors a payday that'll send them into retirement, but it's a solid return with a tremendous opportunity to cash.

Huerta comes to the Octagon with an impressive MMA record of 20-1-1. His record is slightly better than Guida's who's 21-5-0 and the favorite at -140. Advantage Huerta.

Huerta is the more explosive fighter with stronger finishing power and is more likely to land a bomb sending his opponent onto his back starring up at the lights. BIG advantage Huerta.

Huerta's last four UFC fights were won via technical knock out, including his most recent win against Alberto Crane in UFC 74. Guida's last three fights have been decided by the judges, including his last fight against Marcus Aurelio in UFC 74, who nearly handed Guida his third straight loss.

Guida has lost two of his last three fights, and Huerta has won his last four giving him all the momentum coming into this one. Advantage Huerta.

Guida has endurance, a solid chin, and wrestling skills. But Huerta is a more well rounded fighter making him a threat standing up or on his back, as well he's always composed and confident which often makes him the aggressor. Advantage Huerta.

Both men come to the cage weighing in at 155-pounds (70 kg). But at 5' 9'' Huerta is taller than the 5' 7'' Guida. This gives Huerta greater leverage and a reach advantage which could loom large if this battle stays upright. Advantage Huerta.

Key to victory for Huerta includes staying aggressive and take early control. Guida has been on the short end of close decisions recently and he can't afford for another fight to be placed in the hands of the judges so he may be swinging for the fences.

Huerta should be able to avoid any bombs thrown by capitalizing on his composer, making him dangerous if Guida gets sloppy in desperation of scoring a knockout.

A lot is on the line for both up and comers, and 2008 could see the winner getting an eventual title shot. With all things considered it's advantage Huerta across the board making him the solid selection.
