UFC 70 Results - Cro Cop KO’D!

In a third consecutive UFC main event shocker, a highly favored and headlining UFC superstar was dethroned Saturday as Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic was knocked out by a first round head kick.
Underdog Gabriel Gonzaga ended the PRIDE superstars march to a heavyweight championship by using one of the Croatian kickboxer’s signature moves (a kick to the head) against him and ended the fight in the first round.
This is the third UFC main card upset in the last three events. At UFC 68, Randy Couture took out Heavyweight Champ Tim Silvia, and at UFC 69 Matt Serra upset Heavy favorite George St. Pierre.
The UFC has proved that once again, ANYTHING can happen in the world of MMA.
