UFC 67 UPDATES - Lutter Can't Make Weight

Travis Lutter came in 2 lbs over the required weight of 185 lbs and was not able to burn off the excess weight within the two hour time limit.

The two parties renegotiated the terms of the match and agreed upon the weight differential but Lutter would not be eligible for the Middleweight belt and will also surrender 10% of his purse – 5% to Silva and 5% to the UFC. The match will also be scaled back to a 3 round bout instead of the Championship length of 5 rounds.

The news immediately moved the moneyline on this fight from (-450) to (-500) for Anderson Silva, and to (+400) from (+350) for Travis Lutter.

These odds work in favor of the wagerer as Silva is now MORE of a favorite and Lutter, MORE of an underdog.
