UFC 67 Betting - Quinton Rampage Jackson Profile

Quinton Jackson is coming into UFC 67 with a 25-6-0 record. He'll also be coming in wearing a gigantic metal chain around his neck. Everything about this dude screams toughness.
UFC bettors will be eagerly awaiting Rampage's octagon debut. He gained quite a reputation in Pride FC and the World Fighting Alliance. Jackson is an exciting fighter with an arsenal loaded with take-down defenses, wrestling abilities, impressive slams, and solid striking.
One of Jackson's most impressive career wins was a TKO victory over current light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell - Liddell's only loss that hasn't been avenged. That's right; a win over one of the UFC's greatest. Along with Mirko Cro Cop, Jackson's arrival strengthens the UFC's reputation as THE place for MMA fighting.
Speaking of unavenged losses, Jackson will be squaring off against Marvin "The Beastman" Eastman - who beat Jackson in a King of the Cage match in 2000. You can bet that he will be looking for redemption in addition to making a name for himself in his UFC unveiling.
In this match-up, both of these fighters will have a lot to prove. With all of the anticipation, it should be an exciting showdown.
At -700 on the moneyline, Jackson is a favorite who will deliver a very expected win on Saturday. If the UFC storyline goes according to plan, he'll keep winning until moving to a title shot, and rematch, against Chuck Liddell.
Before a title shot, Jackson is looking to solidify his spot in the UFC with a win over Eastman. While hard core MMA fans will know who he is, this will be one of the first introductions Rampage will have to a large-scale North American audience. He's going to come out aggressively, swinging hard.
Look for Jackson to play to his wrestling strengths and try to control the pace of the match from the beginning. The smart money will be going on the favorites at UFC 67 - especially in the Eastman vs. Jackson fight.
