The pressure on Coach Ramos to lead his squad into the next stage of the UEFA Cup competition is greater than ever, as away matches are more difficult to win than home matches. In their last five away matches, Tottenham has lost only once, won two and drawn two. Their record – as well as winning the Carling Cup – gives the Spurs some hope as they travel to the Netherlands to meet a tough Dutch opposition – and favoured by a slight margin on the money line, the bookies would appear to have given this some stock.

Analysis: PSV Eindhoven has been dominant in domestic championship competition and has a huge mental boost from their 1:0 victory at White Heart Lane; they are a match away from advancing into the UEFA Cup quarterfinals and at +160 on the money line they have to resist the London side for only 90 minutes! However, this is easier said than done. Since the first leg rests on one goal, PSV Eindhoven is not a sure bet for a quarterfinal berth.
Soccer Betting Verdict: The Spurs will be chaffing from their recent losses, particularly after lifting one of Europe’s premier silverwares – the Carling Cup. Anxious to prove their worth, the Spurs will be sure to attack from the start and force PSV on the defence.
