SEC College Hoops Betting – Alabama vs. Florida

The fifth-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide, (16-15 SU, 10-15 ATS, 13-12 O/U), get an excellent shot at redemption and revenge tonight when they take on the Florida Gators, (21-10 SU, 11-11 ATS, 12-9-1 O/U), in their first round Southeast Conference matchup tonight as the Tide will be looking to burst the Gators’ bubble and kill their remaining NCAA Tournament bid hopes.
Alabama is an uninspiring 4-6 in their last ten games in the BetUS.com Sportsbook and come into tonight’s matchup off a solid 78-73 overtime win over Vanderbilt last Saturday while Florida has an even more dismal 3-7 in their last ten games and comes into this game riding a three-game losing streak including a 75-70 loss at Kentucky on Sunday.

The Gators are averaging 78.4 points per game on 49.2 percent shooting while allowing 73.1 points per game on 43.9 percent shooting.
The Tide is 5-5 against the spread in their last ten games and 3-1 against the spread in their last four games while Florida is a pitiful 2-8 against the spread in their last ten and has failed to cover the spread in three consecutive games.

Analysis: While the Gators may be the two-time defending national champions, they are certainly not the same team that hoisted those championship trophies. Still, I like them to beat the Tide and cover the spread in this contest.
