The lowly Colorado Rockies, (40-57, 43-54 RL) snapped a four-game losing streak in the BetUS Sportsbook on Thursday, beating the nearly equally dismal Pittsburgh Pirates, (44-51, 50-45 RL) 5-3 to earn their first victory for BetUS MLB online sports betting enthusiasts since July 9 while handing the Pirates their second consecutive loss and third in four games.

The Rockies will look to record consecutive wins for the first time since July 4-5 by handing the ball to veteran left-hander Glendon Rusch (2-3, 6.25), who will be making just his third start of the season.

Rusch, who sat out all of 2007, will be making his first start since limiting the Milwaukee Brewers to one run on five hits in six innings of an 8-3 win on July 9.

The Pirates will counter with veteran Ian Snell (3-7, 5.92 ERA), who has struggled immenselt on the road this season, going 0-4 with a 11.35 ERA in his last five road starts.

Snell, the Pirates’ opening day starter this season, has just one win in his last 15 starts and was beaten up in his last start, allowing four runs on just five hits in five innings of Pittsurgh’s 11-6 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals last Sunday.

Rockies’ catcher Chris Iannetta has homered in three straight games, driving in nine runs during the span.

"This year I'm getting the same pitches and I'm able to barrel them up," Iannetta said.

Analysis: While there isn’t much that would make anyone think the Pittsburgh Pirates will win tonight’s game, that is exactly what I am predicting as I expect Pittsburgh to pick up another in what has been a season full of surprise, bankroll-boosting wins already. Take the Pirates to cover the Run Line while sending this game ‘Under’ the 10½ -Run O/U Line.
