The Detroit Red Wings finally won a game and are now back at home looking to win consecutive games for the first time in a month.
The Red Wings, who boast the Western Conference’s best record, had lost four straight and 10 of 12 games.
Interestingly enough, while the Red Wings have a record of 43-18-6, they have a losing record inside their division. They are 7-9-2 against teams in the Central Division.
The Blues have been hitting the skids themselves after looking like a surprise team earlier in the season. They have one win in their last eight games.
The Blues are just 1-10 ATS against teams with a winning record in the second half of the season, which doesn’t bode well even though the Red Wings are only 2-5 against teams with a losing record in the second half of the season.
Seven of the last 10 meetings in Detroit have gone under.

Anaheim Ducks @ Chicago Blackhawks
The Anaheim Ducks are the hottest team in the NHL right now and seem to be the favorite to win the Stanley Cup this season. Repeating as champs in the NHL might be tougher than any of the other four major sports, but Anaheim looks poised to do so after winning 11 of their last 12 games.
The Ducks have won six straight overall and look to match a franchise record with a seventh consecutive win.
The Ducks are 7-1 this season after a non-conference game and 13-6 after a win by two goals or more. But the Blackhawks won’t be pushovers – they too are streaking.
They’ve won eight of 11 and are 14-7 in games following an offensive output of four goals or more.
Anaheim is 0-4 in road games where the total is 5.5.

Phoenix Coyotes @ Dallas Stars
Although the Detroit Red Wings were the heavy favorite all season to not only win the Presidents’ Trophy and the Western Conference, the Dallas Stars are making a late run.
The Stars are just five points back of the Red Wings thanks to a 7-3 stretch in their last 10 games.
The Stars have won nine of 12 and are off a rare home loss.
They are 10-5 at home when the total is 5.5 and are 8-3 after scoring one goal or less in their previous outing.
The Coyotes have been a cute story this season but are fading at the worst possible time. They’ve lost four of their last six. The only good news for them is that they thrive against their division. They are 15-7 in those games this season.

Ottawa Senators @ San Jose Sharks
When will the bleeding stop for the Ottawa Senators? After a scorching start to the season, the Senators are reeling. The Senators have won three of their last 11 games, fired their head coach and have scored just seven goals in their last five games – five coming in one game. The Senators have scored just two goals in their last three road games.
Ottawa is 3-7 this season after scoring one goal or less in their previous game and just 2-4 in non-conference battles. Under has hit in 19 of Ottawa 31 non-conference contests over the last three years.
The Sharks, on the other hand, have won six straight games, five of which came on the road.
