The Dallas Cowboys are looking to regroup after getting ambushed by the Philadelphia Eagles 10-6 at home last week, ending their seven-game winning streak while the Carolina Panthers beat the Seattle Seahawks 13-10 last week at home and are just looking to finish out the regular season on a positive note.

The Dallas Cowboys, (12-2 SU, 9-5 ATS, 10-4 O/U), despite being the owners of the league’s second ranked overall offense, were held to just 240 total yards last week, far under their season average of 378.1 yards and 30.6 points per game.

Starting quarterback Tony Romo went, a dismal 13-of-36 for 214 yards while posting a career-low rating of 22.2. Additionally, enigmatic wide receiver Terrell Owens may be about ready to start some of his shenanigans after catching only five balls the last two weeks with no touchdowns.

The Panthers, (6-8 SU, 6-8 ATS, 5-9 O/U won last week with their fourth starting quarterback of the season in youngster Matt Moore, who, ironically, was cut by the ‘Boys before the start of the regular season.

Moore, an undrafted rookie, completed 19 of 27 passes for 208 yards, and wasn't sacked or intercepted against the Seahawks, earning him his second career start – against his former team. However, Carolina’s win last week was just the second victory in the team’s last eight games.

The Panthers are ranked 29th in overall offense, averaging 284.8 yards and 15.9 points per game and 12th in overall defense allowing 320.7 yards and 21.7 points per game.

The Cowboys are ranked eighth in overall defense allowing 310.9 yards and 20.4 points per game.

Analysis: I picked the Cowboys to absolutely demolish the Eagles last week, foolishly forgetting about the league’s best defensive coordinator in Philadelphia’s Jimmie Johnson. Fortunately for Dallas, the Cowboys won’t have to worry about him this week. Take the Boys to get back on track by winning and covering the spread in this contest by shutting down the offensively challenged Panthers.
