NFL Betting Trends – Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
By Eric Williams
The Dallas Cowboys, (7-1 SU, 6-2 ATS, 6-2 O/U) are ranked second to the New England Patriots in overall offense, averaging a whopping 405.8 yards and 33.1 points per game. Dallas has also fielded a solid defense this season that is ranked eighth overall, allowing 298.4 yards and 21.9 points per game. The Cowboys punished the Philadelphia Eagles 38-17 last week.
The New York Giants, (6-2 SU, 5-3 ATS, 4-4 O/U) are ranked 15th in overall offense, averaging 334.0 yards and 25.0 points per game. New York’s defense, led by their outstanding defensive line, is ranked seventh overall, allowing 297.2 yards and 19.9 points per game. The Giants come into this affair well-rested after having a bye last week.

Analysis: While I think the Cowboys are clearly the better team on both sides of the ball, I am going to go with the Giants to pull this game out and beat the Cowboys by putting an insane amount of pressure on Dallas quarterback Tony Romo with their spectacular defensive line and just enough offense from quarterback Eli Manning and wide receiver Plaxico Burress.
