NFL Futures Betting – Buffalo Bills Season Point Total Odds and Predictions

The Buffalo Bills finished a respectable 7-9 last season - and then turned around and promptly traded several of the veteran players that helped them to overachieve and reach that mark.

On offense, the Bills traded away one explosive running back in veteran Willis McGahee but drafted another in former Cal standout Marshawn Lynch, one of the highly favored rookies to win the NFL Rookie of the Year Award.

Buffalo also has arguably the best wide receiver in the AFC in speedy deep threat Lee Evans - who grabbed 82 passes last season for a 15.8-yard average.

The Bills will have at least three new members on the offensive line this season and how quickly they come together could play a big role in how many points this team scores during the regular season.

The Bills had better also hope that Lynch doesn’t hit the proverbial “rookie wall” at some point, forcing Buffalo to rely too much on quarterback J.P. Losman. It should be noted however, that Losman ranked 11th in the league in passing last season, just below Tom Brady in the AFC.

Here is a look at the Bills season point total odds, followed by my Free NFL Betting Picks:

Analysis: The Bills have averaged 317.6 points per season over the last five seasons with a high of 379 points in 2002 and a low of 243 in 2003. The Bills scored 300 points last season.

The numbers don’t lie bettors, the Buffalo Bills scored exactly 300 points last season and while they could be slightly better this season, I don’t believe it will be by much, if at all, particularly on offense. Depending how their offensive line jells, I say the Bills will once again be right in the neighborhood of 300 points even without McGahee.
