NFL Free Picks: Bengals Over Chiefs

Good lord! Whoever is reading this article needs to quickly grab their wallet and credit card, run to the nearest phone or computer and get hold of the operators standing by at BetUS headquarters. Sign up for an account, deposit a hundred bucks, take the bonus, and make a bet on the Bengals to destroy the Chiefs in this one. You know what? Deposit a grand (only if you can afford it). Even if this is wrong and they do not destroy the Chiefs, they will still give you a win. Because there is no way Cincy wins by less than 6 points. The only way the Chiefs even stay nearly that close will have to be through a series of miracles.

And you can be sure that this NFL betting line is going to move that way, if it hasn’t already. Take it at -4.5, or even –5, if forced.

Cincinnati Bengals –4 @ Kansas City Chiefs +4

This is the first of the NFL lines in the books for Week Six, following the Rotation Numbers. Here’s why you need to bet on it:

It seems like the Chiefs defense is doing great, having held each opponent to 20 points or less. But, Houston’s offense was brand new and has slowed down since a fast start; they were still piecing themselves together. Due to injuries, they still are. The Bears offense needs no introduction and neither does that of the Vikings. The Chargers certainly found themselves last week against Denver, but even Jacksonville had their highest offensive output against the Broncos. The Jags are not in any way related to a scoring machine.

Minus Denver, these are the five teams the Chiefs have played thus far.

My point is that Kansas City has not had to contend with anything resembling a good offense yet this season and that Sunday at 1pm EST, they are going to meet a very angry and well-rested one. The Bengals will have had two weeks to get ready to show America that they are for real.

If you think Palmer, Johnson, TJ and company are not going to put on a show of might, you are sadly mistaken. Their much-maligned defense has been taken to task by their coach in an inadvertently public manner, as has the entire team. The Cincinnati Bengals are going to make those of us who also happen to believe that Herm Edwards would have a hard time coaching his way through a fast-food drive thru wish this game was on Prime Time, so we could all watch as he looks on and wishes he’d retired after last season. You can bet on it.
