NFL Week 1 is in the books and football betting enthusiasts were treated to dynamic action. In the opening week, the favorites turned a slight profit with an against the spread record of 8-7-1. Under players cashed in eleven of the 16 games, with just five contests going over the total.

Now it's time for the NFL betting fanatics to turn their focus to Week 2. The action begins on Sunday with 15 games on the schedule and one on Monday night. Sunday's schedule  features the Battle of Ohio as the Cincinnati Bengals take their high-octane offense into Cleveland to face the Browns.

Cleveland is coming off a 34-7 money-dropping loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns dropped to 1-12 straight up against AFC North teams. Cincinnati won their opener in a 27-20 cover win against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

Last year, Cincinnati and Cleveland met twice and the Bengals won both straight up and against the spread. During those two games Cincinnati outscored Cleveland 64-17.

That's just one of many great games on Sunday that will conclude with a primetime matchup between the San Diego Chargers (+4) and New England Patriots (-4). Both clubs are coming off money-making wins. The Chargers downed the Chicago Bears 14-3 and the Patriots beat the New York Jets 38-14.

San Diego will be looking for revenge in front of the home folks after New England eliminated them 24-21 in last year's AFC championship game.

The Chargers have covered the spread in four of their last five regular season games at home. The Patriots have covered the spread in four consecutive regular season games and have cashed in nine of their last eleven which includes last year's postseason.

As the openers, NFL odds display New England 4-point favorites with a total of 47. This will be a stellar contest between two AFC powerhouses that could be a preview of this year's playoffs.

Week 2 will finish with a Monday Night Football contest between the Washington Redskins (+7) and Philadelphia Eagles (-7) at Lincoln Financial Field. Washington is coming off a 16-13 win over the Miami Dolphins which resulted in a push, while Philadelphia lost 13-16 to the Green Bay Packers to drop the cash.

The Redskins and Eagles met twice last year. Philadelphia won both straight up resulting in a cover win in one and a push in the other.

Week 2 promises to deliver more dazzling NFL excitement, so don't miss any of the action and be sure to check out all our props available for every game.
