This division is littered with more question marks than the rest of the league combined, yet a divisional title is all but inevitable for the Colts. The short answer is: absolutely. Peyton Manning has a weapon in Anthony Gonzalez, who is the perfect compliment for Marvelous Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. Out of the backfield, Joseph Addai proved he is ready to be the go-to tailback for the champs.
Even with the defensive changes, the most important players are still present. Bob Sanders will start at free safety while Dwight Freeney and the front four all return to action. Let’s face the facts – the Colts got to the playoffs with a Swiss cheese defense last year, and there is nothing to stop them from doing the same this year.
The key to the Colts success is that the rest of the division is a mess.
