NFL Betting Picks - 2007 Houston Texans Odds and Predictions
By Tim Furious
When Matt Schaub is on his back staring at the sky for the fiftieth time this season, Coach Gary Kubiak might finally realize that he needs a new offensive line. How the Texans haven’t learned this lesson yet is a huge mystery to me, every football betting enthusiast on the planet and maybe even the Queen of Spain.
Houston Texans Odds And Lines
+10 000 to win Super Bowl XLII
+1000 to win AFC South
+7500 NFL Odds to be AFC #1 Seed
Amobi Okoye, their first round draft choice, is a solid defensive-tackle besides being the youngest ever draftee to the NFL. He will help take up space to free up Mario Williams to maybe get a sack once in his career. That would be nice.
Even with Andre Johnson, the Texans will have trouble moving the ball. Ahman Green came on strong last season, but the Texans offensive line just is not cut out to protect anybody in their backfield. Green’s numbers are going to plummet back down to 2005 levels in a hurry.
Houston. Has a problem. It is none other than their very own football team.
