NFL Betting: Cincinnati Bengals (+4) vs. Baltimore Ravens (-4)

Boy there are a lot of great NFL betting lines this weekend! This has to be one of the best! The Baltimore Ravens are giving up only 4 to the Cincinnati Bengals at home?

Before we all get excited, though, check out this crazy football betting trend:

The Baltimore Ravens are 1 – 7 against the spread in their last 8 games.

That’s the entire season. What this dire trend means is that the Ravens haven’t covered or beaten a spread more than once this year. That’s awful.

But, the Bengals? Can the Bengals really go into Baltimore and beat the Ravens?

Actually, no, the Bengals can’t. The truth about the last time these two teams played is that the Ravens play-calling was atrocious. That’s why they lost.

The truth about the Ravens’ loss versus the Steelers last Monday night is that turnovers did them in not the fact that their defense is getting old, which it is.

Things should be different this Sunday. The Ravens know that they have to win games, maybe the rest of their games, in order to make it into the playoffs in the ultra-tough AFC Conference.

They also know that they can exploit the Bengals run defense, maybe the worst in the league, by giving the ball to Willis McGahee about forty times in this game. Keep Carson Palmer and T.J. and Ocho Cinco off the field, and you have a great chance of winning this game.

It’s all about ball-control in this one. The Ravens have the better running attack, home-field advantage, and a much, much better defense. They should have no trouble beating the spread and breaking the above trend.

The BetUS football betting line is Baltimore Ravens – 4 against the spread at home versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

Take the Ravens to dominate.
