NCAA Football Betting Lines - Week 9 College Football Betting Matchups
By BetUS Staff
Auburn (+330) almost pulled off an upset for me and college football betting aficionados but they couldn’t hold LSU on their final drive. Close doesn’t count in the money line game so we move on to this week.
Record: 11-4 (+1070)
Boise State Broncos @ Fresno State Bulldogs (+3)
If you want to talk about a final score not being indicative of how a team played, last week's win at Louisiana Tech definitely doesn't indicate how close Boise State came to really losing grasp of the game. Boise State and Fresno State renew their battle for the Milk Can and I like the home team. Boise State’s last two opponents have combined for more than 600 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. That’s a big concern since Fresno State averages 204.4 rushing yards per game.
Free Pick: Fresno State +135
Minnesota Golden Gophers @ Michigan Wolverines (-2000)
Minnesota just lost to North Dakota State at home, which for those who don't know, is a I-AA team. Their pass defense is ranked dead last in the NCAA, allowing 342 yards per game. The battle for the Little Brown Jug might be somewhat close in the first half, but Minnesota’s defense is too awful right now to back.
Free Pick: Michigan -2000
UCLA Bruins @ Washington State Cougars (+190)
The Bruins are off a big win after knocking off California last week and will get to face a strange Washington State Cougars squad. The Cougars stink on the road but play well at home, getting both their wins there and nearly upsetting Arizona State. This game will be a close one, regardless of what record these teams come in with, and while UCLA’s offense should be able to take advantage of a weak Cougars’ defense, the truth is UCLA doesn’t perform at a consistent level each week.
Free Pick: Washington State +190
Baylor Bears @ Kansas State Wildcats (-2500)
Kansas State is coming off a tough, close loss to Oklahoma State – a team with a fluid running game and a mobile quarterback. Baylor is on a four-game losing streak and outside of a defense that can get to the quarterback, doesn’t really have much on their roster at all. Kansas State is still playing for a good bowl and need to stomp Baylor to make themselves look a little better.
Free Pick: Kansas State -2500
