NCAA Basketball Betting - Tulsa (+ 3.5) vs. Colorado (- 3.5)

A college basketball bettor can’t always wait for the weekend. If an opportunity presents itself, then college basketball bettors have to jump on it. It doesn’t matter whether North Carolina is playing Duke or Tulsa is playing Colorado.
These trends point a pretty good opportunity for college basketball betting fans tonight:
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane are 6 and 1 against the spread in their last 7 games following a straight-up win.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes are 7 and 3 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.
The Colorado Buffaloes are 1 and 4 against the spread in their last 5 games as a favorite.
The Colorado Buffaloes are 3 and 13 against the spread in their last 16 games after a straight-up win.
Both teams are coming off of wins. The difference is that the Golden Hurricane do a much better job off of a win than the Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffs have a tendency to “bounce” after a straight up win.
That doesn’t bode well for them in a game where Tulsa, historically, has been the better team. Tulsa makes the NCAA Tournament almost annually while Colorado basketball is used to help their football players learn how to watch sports instead of play sports.
Okay, that was harsh. Colorado isn’t that bad. Well, they aren’t that good having lost games to New Orleans, Wyoming, Stanford, Wisconsin and New Mexico this year.
Tulsa has lost to Oklahoma, Arkansas-Little Rock, Oral Roberts and Hampton this year. Ouch. But the Golden Hurricane are on a five game winning streak.
So, I’ll take Tulsa and the points in this game.
