College Basketball Spreads - Duquesne vs. Temple

The Temple Owls, (16-12 SU, 17-11 ATS, 10-18 O/U, take on the Duquesne Dukes, (16-11 SU, 9-12 ATS, 8-13 O/U), in their final home game of the 2007-08 season and come into the A-10 matchup having won two consecutive games, including a thrilling 57-56 win over city-rival St. Joe’s on Sunday.
The Dukes have won just four of their last ten games and come into tonight’s matchup riding a four-game losing streak, including an 89-82 road loss to the Charlotte 49ers on Sunday.
Duquesne is averaging a whopping 82.3 points per game on 45.4 percent shooting while allowing 73.8 points per game on 42.1 percent shooting.
The Owls are averaging 71.7 points per game on 46.8 percent shooting while allowing 68.9 points per game on 42.4 percent shooting.
The Owls have also been covering the spread in the BetUS.com Sportsbook at a decent rate, covering the spread in seven of their last ten games including two straight.
The Dukes have dropped four consecutive games against the spread and six of ten coming into tonight’s affair.

The Under is 4-1 in Dukes last five overall.
The Under is 7-3 in Owls last ten Wednesday games.
The Home team is 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings.
The Dukes are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Temple.
Analysis: While the Owls haven’t been anything to write home to mom about this season, this is a contest that they should definitely be able to cover the spread in. Take Temple to cover the spread with a solid effort at home on Senior Night.
