NCAA Basketball Betting - TEXAS A&M at OKLAHOMA
by Charles Jay
BetUS NCAA basketball followers can get on the side of a Big 12 team vying for a spot in the NCAA's on Saturday when the Texas A&M Aggies (21-7 SU, 12-11 ATS) travel to the Lloyd Nobel Center in Norman to take on the Oklahoma Sooners (18-10 SU, 11-14 ATS) in conference action that tips off at 2 PM ET.
Here are some of the NCAA college basketball betting trends as they relate to this matchup:
* A&M has covered six of its last nine games
* A&M has covered 17 of its last 25 road games
* A&M has played five of its last six road games UNDER the total
* OKLA has lost seven of its last nine games ATS
* OKLA has played six of its last nine games UNDER the total
* OKLA has covered one of its last six home games
* OKLA has won 14 of its last 17 home games SU
* A&M has covered four of the last six meetings
* OKLA has won 20 of the last 24 meetings SU
* A&M has covered four of the last five meetings as the road team
* OKLA has won 11 of the last 12 meetings SU as the home team
* Four of the last five meetings in Stillwater have gone OVER the total
* A&M has had the rebounding edge in four of the last six meetings
* OKLA has had the shooting edge in seven of the last ten meetings
* OKLA has made more three-pointers in seven of the last ten meetings
A&M went through a dreadful stretch recently, dropping consecutive games, in very unimpressive fashion, to Oklahoma State, Texas and Nebraska, before exorcising all demons in a 98-54 romp over Pat Knight's Texas Tech team, hitting 57% from the field, and 12 shots from beyond the arc. Does this signal an end to A&M's woes?

Maybe not, but Oklahoma also has some problems to work out. The Sooners have been put into a defensive vise grip by their last two opponents, who held them to a TOTAL of 90 points on 26% and 37% shooting (against Texas and Nebraska, respectively). The Aggies have the potential to do something similar, as A&M has held opponents to just 38.8% from the field. A plus-six rebounding margin in road games does not hurt the Aggies either. Perhaps the Aggies' free throw shooting (62.4%) will be a burden, but Oklahoma has not been very sharp itself in that department lately.
Technical numbers also support Mark Turgeon's team, as the Aggies have covered 17 of their last 25 road games, while Oklahoma has covered just one of its last six at home.
We're going to take the road team, Texas A&M, in this game in the BetUS NCAA college basketball betting odds.
