NCAA Basketball Betting Action – DePaul at Cincinnati

Despite the fact that they have won just once in their last ten games and enter tonight’s contest riding a five-game losing streak, the DePaul Dlue Demons, (10-18 SU, 12-13 ATS, 13-12 O/U), are in a three-way tie with St. John's and Providence for the 12th and final spot in the Big East Tournament, heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

The Cincinnati Bearcats, (13-15 SU, 15-11 ATS, 12-14 O/U), haven’t been much better this season, winning just four of their past ten games and coming into this contest riding a three-game losing streak themselves.

DePaul dropped its last contest to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at home, 98-91 on Sunday while Cincinnati fell to Providence at home 81-79 in overtime the same day.

The Dlue Demons haven’t had many problems at the offensive end of the floor as they are averaging a solid 72.8 points per game on 43.3 percent shooting. Unfortunately, they are still allowing more points per game defensively than they are scoring, allowing 75.8 points per game on 46.5 percent shooting.

The Bearcats have had trouble putting the ball in the basket as they are averaging a miniscule 65.4 points per game on 42.0 percent shooting while allowing 66.9 points per game on 42.5 percent shooting.

The Blue Demons are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games vs. a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600.

The Bearcats are 11-1 ATS in their last twelve games following a S.U. loss.

The Bearcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a ATS loss.

The Under is 6-2 in Blue Demons last eight road games.

The Over is 7-1 in Bearcats last eight Thursday games.

The Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.

The Under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.

Analysis: Though I’m not real confident in their ability to win this game outright, I think the DePaul Blue Demons will cover the spread with a really good chance of winning this game outright. Take DePaul and the points NCAA hoops bettors.
