NCAAB Betting - UCLA (- 3.5) vs. Stanford (+ 3.5)
By D.S. Williamson
The money keeps going towards the Bruins as this line opened up at UCLA – 2. That’s a 1.5 point change in only a few hours. What does it mean? It means that Stanford, even though they have a record of 12 and 1 on the year, haven’t created too many college basketball wagering fans so far this year.
Some trends:
The Stanford Cardinal are 1 and 4 against the spread in their last 5 home games.
The Stanford Cardinal are 1 and 5 against the spread in their last 6 games as an UNDERDOG.
The UCLA Bruins are 26-12-1 against the spread in their last 39 games on the road.
With these trends there is absolutely no reason not to wager on the Bruins up to around 7 points or so. Give the Cardinal up to 7 points in this one and you’ll probably be cashing at the end of the game.
UCLA is just a better team. They’ve played a tougher brand of non-conference opponent this year - - having lost to Texas by 2 points and beating both Maryland and Michigan State.
Stanford’s best win so far was beating Texas Tech by a point in their second game of the season. That’s not good enough when playing a team who has not only Final Four aspirations but actual NCAAB betting Championship aspirations.
Sorry, Stanford, reality sets in tonight. I can see the Bruins beating the Cardinal by close to twenty points in this one. That would shatter the spread, but the differences between the two teams in terms of talent is that great.
The Bruins in an absolute ass-whipping.
The BetUS NCAAB betting line is UCLA Bruins – 3.5 against the spread versus the Stanford Cardinal.
The longer you wait, the higher this line will go. UCLA should absolutely whollop the Cardinals in this one.
