NCAAF Wagering: Florida Atlantic vs Kentucky Odds
by Tim Furious
Florida Atlantic Owls (3-1) vs. No. 14 Kentucky Wildcats (4-0)
Saturday, September 29th --- Commonwealth Stadium, Lexington --- 1:00pm EST
Opening NCAA Football Line: Kentucky -24 (67.5)
Suddenly the Kentucky Wildcats find themselves under the microscope with two massive upsets over Louisville and Arkansas. Quarterback Andre Woodson has led the Wildcats to 502.5 total offensive yards per game, an undefeated record and a perfect record against the spread while compiling a dazzling Heisman resume.
With the Wildcats looking forward to their awful October schedule, they can’t afford to look past the Florida Atlantic Owls. The Owls have been beating up second tier teams, but their defense is abysmal. They allow 28.8 points per game, and that’s against teams like North Texas and Oklahoma State. It really isn’t a good sign when the oddsmakers draw the line at twenty-four points against.
Kentucky is torching the scoreboard for 47.0 points per game and their defense is only allows 23.3 points per match. But the Owls have been racking up the score against low-end schools so their 26.3 points per game is deceptive. Bet safely and happily on Kentucky to cover this somewhat massive spread as Woodson continues his Heisman campaign in to October.
