NCAAF Betting USC (9) at Oregon (5)
By BetUS Staff
The USC Trojans play a must-win game this weekend if they hope to win the Pac-10 title once again when they face the No. 5 Oregon Ducks. This is also a must-win game for the Ducks, as they currently trail the undefeated Arizona Sun Devils for first place in the conference. The Trojans sport a 6-1 overall mark and a 3-1 conference record heading into this weekend, while the Ducks are also 6-1 with a 3-1 Pac-10 mark. This game is also the first time in a very long time that the Trojans are not a NCAAF betting favorite against a Pac-10 opponent, as Oregon is listed as a 3-point chalk.

The Trojans hope to have starting quarterback John David Booty back in the starting lineup this weekend. Booty has missed the Trojans’ last two games with a broken middle finger on his throwing hand. Booty took part in practice this week and will likely be a game-time decision on Saturday. Even without Booty the Trojans had no trouble knocking off Notre Dame last week, as they shut out the Fighting Irish 38-0 as a 16.5-point favorite on the NCAAF odds.
Backup quarterback Mark Sanchez completed 21-of-38 passes for 235 yards with four touchdowns. Running back Joe McKnight broke out for a 51-yard touchdown run, while Vidal Hazelton caught three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. The USC defense limited the Irish to only 165 yards with five sacks.
The Ducks’ offense exploded last week, as they defeated Washington 55-34 as a 12-point favorite. Oregon recorded 661 total yards of offense, including 465 rushing yards. Running back Jonathan Stewart led the Ducks with 251 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries and Andre Crenshaw rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon threw for 196 yards with a touchdown and an interception and also rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
Last season the Trojans clipped the Ducks 35-10 as a 9.5-point favorite. USC Running back Chauncey Washington rushed for three touchdowns in the win, while Booty threw for 176 yards with touchdown and an interception. Stewart was held to 42 rushing yards on 14 carries, while Dixon threw for 130 yards with an interception.
