NCAAB Betting - North Carolina State (predict: + 7.5) vs. North Carolina (predict: - 7.5)

The Wolfpack take on the Tar Heels in a key ACC match-up this Saturday. The Tar Heels are undefeated and, since they are at home, I don’t see the Tar Heels giving up less than 7 against the spread in this game.
First, some trends:
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are 4 and 0 against the spread in their last 4 games versus a rival team from the ACC Conference.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are 9 and 2 against the spread in their last 11 road games following three or more consecutive home games.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are 8 and 2 against the spread in their last 10 games on the road.
All three of these trends point to a close game. Why not? North Carolina is the best team in college basketball betting right now, but, unlike the NBA where the very, very good teams usually blow-out all of the other teams, the talent level in college basketball is much closer than most bettors may think.
This is the ACC where every team has a chance to beat every other team. Both North Carolina and N.C. State come into this game with terrific records. State has only lost three games this season. The Tar Heels are undefeated.
That makes for a very interesting and very key game this weekend. Who wager on should depend on the against the spread line.
The predicted BetUS NCAAB betting line is North Carolina State Wolfpack + 7.5 against the spread versus the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Because I predict a close game, I’m going to take the Wolfpack getting 6 or more points in this one. Anything less than 6 points and I’m going with the Tar Heels.
The Tar Heels could blow the Wolfpack out of the arena but I doubt that will happen. ACC inter-conference games are usually always close and these two teams know each other very, very well.
