NCAA Basketball Betting ‘Lock Alert’ – Villanova at Rutgers

After a rough 1-2 stretch that began just three days into the New Year, the Villanova Wildcats, (13-3 SU, 5-8 ATS, 5-8 O/U) appear to be back on track after winning their last two games over DePaul, 76-69 last Wednesday and Syracuse, 81-71 on Saturday.
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights, (8-11 SU, 4-11 ATS, 5-10 O/U) come into this matchup having lost six consecutive games and eight of ten, including a close 75-73 loss to DePaul on Saturday.
Villanova’s electrifying sophomore guard Scottie Reynolds, was named the Big East player of the week on Monday after finishing with 25 points and six rebounds against the Orange. Reynolds is averaging a team-high 17.5 points per game, but has averaged 26.0 points per contest over the last three games.
Rutgers shot a season-high 61.7 percent from the field against DePaul and led by as many as 15 points but watched helplessly s the Blue Demons stormed back for the victory.
The six-game losing streak is Rutgers' longest since 2002-03.
