NBA Odds - Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets

Phoenix Suns (+ 5.5) vs. Denver Nuggets (- 5.5)

Tip-off: 6:05 pm EST.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Portland Trailblazers by 5 points last night. They also won against the BetUS point spread as the line was Phoenix – 2. But now they travel to Denver, where the Nuggets are usually very good, to take on a team that hasn’t played since March 2nd.

The old man Suns vs. the old man Nuggets. This should be interesting! Against the BetUS spread Phoenix has been terrible lately. They’ve gone 3 and 7 in their last 10 games. The Nuggets have gone 3 and 7 as well, but Denver’s home record is actually okay. They have a winning against the spread BetUS record at home - - 17 and 13 on the season.

Here are more trends for us to persue:

The Phoenix Suns are 5 and 1 against the spread in their last 6 road games.

The Denver Nuggets are 8 and 1 against the spread in their last 9 games at home as a favorite between 5.0 to 10.5 points.

The Home Team is 5 and 0 against the spread in the last 5 games between these two teams.

The Phoenix Suns are 3 and 7 against the spread in the last 10 games versus a team from the NBA Northwest.

Conflicting trends about a game between two teams that still haven’t found an identity. This is going to be a very interesting game as both teams sort of need to win to remind us BetUS NBA bettors how good they can be. I don’t have faith in either team against the spread, but I definitely have no faith in the Suns.

Phoenix went from being a very good team to an okay team. Like I wrote yesterday, they don’t scare any team in the league any more. The truth about the Suns is that they were bad against the BetUS spread before the Shaq trade. Now they are worse.

They used to beat teams like Portland by ten to fourteen points. Now, they’re a question mark against teams like Denver.

The Nuggets are up one moment, down the next. The have all of the talent in the world, but can’t seem to put anything together. It’s always a difficult proposition betting on the Nuggets to cover spreads, but my hands are sort of tied here because the Suns covering - - in this case beating - - two BetUS spreads in a row looks impossible at this point.

Nene is the only real injury for either team, but the Nuggets come back with Marcus Camby, Allen Iverson, and Carmelo Anthony. That puts this game into their win column.

The BetUS basketball gambling line is Denver Nuggets – 5.5 against the spread at home versus the Phoenix Suns.

I like Denver to cover the spread tonight.
